LEWIS JACKSON Margaret Harrington Jackson, wife of Lewis Jackson, Tafts Avenue, died at her home on Wednesday, February 15. Cause of death being coronary thrombosis and probable shock. Funeral services were held at the Powers funeral home on Saturday afternoon, with entombment at the Hartford cemetery, Rev. Clair Carpenter officiated at the services. Mrs. Jackson was born June 18, 1894 at Greenwich, N.Y., daughter of the late Martin and Kate Harrington. Although in poor health the greater part of her life, she always had a smile and cheerful word for everyone. Beside her husband she is survived by nine children: Mrs. George Glaze of California (who was unable to be contacted); Mrs. Paul Hubbard, Concord, N.H., Lewis T. of Haverhill, Mass., Mrs. Eugene J. Corcoran, Springfield,; Fred M. of Albany, N.Y.; Mrs. Arthur Maltais, Concord, N.H., Mrs. William Davis, Hartford; Pauline and Kay Jackson. Other survivors include one brother, three sisters, eighteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. |
