Media object | This home is known in the family as the "Hoyt House" in the Milbrook section of Duxbury, Massachusetts. According to Ed Dwelly who lived in the house for many years with Lucille Rowe, the house was built in 1693. Our family were guests in the homefor a few days in 1956. Ed took us to the attic and showed us used beams he claimed were dismantled from ships in order to build the house. Postcard photo provided by Ruth and Arnold Kvam.
