Obituary | OBIT July 30, 2004 (1 day after death)TEMPLETON -- Hazel L. (Olmstead) Nash, 92, of 152 North Main St., East Templeton died Thursday morning, July 29, in Birchwood Care Center, Fitchburg. She was born in Keene, N.H. on March 24, 1912, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Elliot) Olmstead, and had been a resident of East Templeton since 1949. Mrs. Nash was a longtime member of East Templeton United Methodist Church, where she had been active with many church activities. She leaves four children, Beverly J. Fulford of East Swanzey, N.H., James R. Menter of Chambersburg, Pa., Janice M. Moore of South Bend, Ind., and Virginia R. Dow of East Templeton, with whom she lived; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Her husband of 28 years, Harold J. Nash, died in 1977. A daughter, Barbara A. Myers of Annapolis, Md., a brother, Cleo Olmstead, and sister, Doris Castor, also predeceased her. NASH -- On July 29, Hazel L. (Olmstead) Nash, 92, of Templeton. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m. in Smith Funeral Home, 69 Vernon St., Gardner. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Swanzey, N.H. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Trustees Building Fund, care of East Templeton United Methodist Church, P.O.
